Electric Vehicles and EVSEs

Home/L.A. County Employees/Electric Vehicles and EVSEs

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are finding a place in our world as more EVs are seen on the road. An EV can save you vast amounts of money. If you click on the UC Davis EV Explorer Project link, created by UC Davis, you can find out just how much you can save as well as the differences in Electric vehicles compared to regular Gas Engine Vehicles.

You might be wondering – after I buy my electric vehicle (EV), how can I make sure that I have enough charge? Great News! As part of a grant funded pilot program, the County will be installing about 80 EVSE (electric vehicle charging stations) at various County locations as an incentive and to support employees with ZEV Electric Vehicles or AT-PZEV Plug-In Hybrids.
